Bottini, the architect behind this
lovingly restored building, has brought the
structure back to its original splendor and nobility,
recreating an atmosphere of the past and conservin
all of the original stonework, barrel vaulted
ceilings, period fixtures, iron balconies, and even the
wonderful tufaceous grottoes.
The finished restoration work glows with the careful
labor of human hands, the use of traditional techniques
and natural materials. And although it may have progressed
quickly at times, more often than not the work proceeded unhurried,
with due respect to the age and history of the materials
and the structure.

Here, right beside this
medieval town of Santarcangelo,
"Il Villino Hotel" rises
into view, surrounded by rolling lawns and
a garden filled with flora
and crowned by a
unique fountain.
